Clothes Mending Workshop

With clothes designed to fall apart and be replaced, learning how to mend your favorite garments keeps them out of the landfills longer while saving you money. You’ll learn the basics of mending, both on woven and knit fabric, by hand stitching or by machine. Hand sewing experience is helpful, but not required. You are encouraged to bring your own item of clothing in need of repair, but fabric for mending samples is provided.
Portraiture for Beginners

Beginner Earring Making

You’ll fashion two pairs of fabulous earrings, first choosing between silver or gold-toned findings, and then selecting a bead that suits your style from our collection. Next, you will be guided through the fundamental skills needed to make these earrings, including link creation, wire shaping, tool use and basic wire wrapping. All tools and supplies are provided. Each student will finish the class with two pairs of earrings that they crafted! Earring cards, gift boxes, jewelry care card, and cleaning cloths are also available for students to take home.
