This interval training class offers three essential fitness components: cardio, strength training, and stretching to release tension. Participants will engage in interval training, essential for calorie burning and weight loss. Students will engage in multiple actions for short bursts. Students must register and pay the instructor at the first class, but anyone can drop in or start the class anytime throughout the session. No discounts applicable. Requirement: A mat or towel. Participants will enjoy an effective whole body interval workout targeting muscular strength, cardiovascular stamina, core stability, flexibility, balance and coordination. Regain, maintain and improve fitness levels to be free to enjoy life and travel experiences, prevent injuries and maximize health span. Accessible and challenging for all levels and ages, beginner through athlete. Bring sneakers, mat and a water bottle. $5 drop in or $40 for 10 class card can be used for all Emma's M/T/W classes. This dance fitness class includes music of Salsa, Swing, Merengue, Tango, Cha Cha, Reggaeton, Bellydance, African and more. For 45 minutes, participants will bust stress, boost energy and burn calories while using traditional and unique moves to fabulous music. Improvisation encouraged. This course also includes 15 minutes of core work to support your back, your dance, and your life. This co-ed adult movement class will bring out a student’s creative side. The class encourages students to move, bend, flow, and stretch, all while progressing to a rhythm. No experience necessary. Students should come to class with an open mind and a willingness to move barefoot in a new way. (Register and pay at first class, and drop-ins welcome anytime during session.)
