Students will learn about architectural design and basic framing techniques, building codes and construction practices. Students will create various types of 2D drawings used in developing a set of residential house plans. Prerequisite: AUTOCAD 1 or other CAD experience

This hands-on course covers the core competencies of organizational and technical support for medical computer software records, the type used in a healthcare facility. Course topics include medical record content and format, techniques for filing, maintenance and acquisition of health information, and processes of collecting, computing, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to healthcare services, all of which is done with EHR computer software. Prerequisites: Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. The price of this course does not include a book fee of $108.00.
