As an introductory course, Intro to Accounting teaches the planning, analyzing and interpreting of transactions that occur in a small for-profit single-owner business. These transactions are processed and recorded through an entire accounting cycle with the ultimate objective of preparing financial statements that summarize the results of operations for that business. Basic accounting principles are taught with emphasis on accuracy and business ethics.
Please note: the first and last day of this class will be held in person at Portland Adult Education.

Global Dance Party

Joyful movement to music from around the world: Salsa, Merengue, Tango, Swing, Cha Cha, Reggaeton, Belly dance, African and more. For 45 minutes, participants will bust stress, boost energy and burn calories while using traditional and unique moves to fabulous music. Improvisation encouraged, all levels welcome.
