This course is a follow-up to the Intro to public speaking and communications class just offered through the winter. This course is also intended for students that have an established background and comfort with speaking in public. Taking the introduction course first is suggested, however, it is not a prerequisite to sign up for this class if you are seeking a faster paced learning environment.

Block printing is a process of printing an image by carving a linoleum stamp, rolling it with ink, and pressing it on paper. Just like a stamp! The carving process is very satisfying and your image can be simple or complex. Open to beginners!

This class will take you through the steps of making a small quilt from start to finish: cutting, strip-piecing, assembling the top & layers, quilting, and basting. Homework will be required each week to be ready for the next step. Emphasis will be on completion, not perfection! Sewing machines will be required, along with basic quilting tools and fabric in order to complete homework. Supply list will be sent out upon registration. No quilting experience needed. Basic sewing machine experience is required. Take Intro to Sewing at Factory 3 if you need an intro!

In this enlightening webinar, our instructor and professional voice coach will show you how you can actually begin using your speaking voice for commercials, films, videos, and more. In this introductory class, you will learn about a unique, outside the box way to break into this creative, fulfilling, and potentially lucrative industry. Line dancing is accessible to everyone, fun for all, and no partner is needed! This will not be strictly country line dancing as a wide range of music will be used. Those who have done jazz and ballroom dancing will enjoy this form of dance, too. Dances will be varied and suited for beginner and experienced students. Wear clothing that is comfortable and cool, and shoes should also be comfortable and not difficult to dance on (I.e. shoes that don't stick to the floor and make it difficult to move the feet). After class starts, you can still drop in. Drop-in Fee is $10 per class
